Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

- $78K to 125K FTE pa + super + salary packaging
About the Role
As a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner, you’ll:
- Deliver person-centred PBS services: assessment, planning, implementation, reporting, and review of PBS supports with customers.
- Work across community and supported settings.
- Collaborate with Therapy and Community Services teams and managers.
- Consult on PBS supports for customers without funding.
- Meet compliance requirements for identified restrictive practices.
- Support the education and training of staff with best practice PBS approaches.
- Provide clinical mentorship (if experienced).
📅 Permanent, part time position (0.6FTE). Full time may be considered.
📍 Coolbinia office with flexible work options
💰 Salary dependent on level of experience and qualification
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- If applicable, professional registration relevant to your qualification, or membership with your discipline’s association (e.g., Social Work, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Occupational Therapy).
- Current NDIS Commission registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or willingness to obtain suitability (we’ll support you through the process!).
- Experience as a PBS Practitioner (preferred, not essential).
- Background in the Disability Sector and supporting customers with complex needs.
- Strong clinical practice skills and excellent written documentation.
- The right to work in Australia.
- Ability to complete required checks: NDIS Worker Screening, National Police Clearance, COVID vaccination, Working with Children Check, Driver’s Licence, First Aid.
