About the Role
As a General Hand, you’ll provide property maintenance and gardening services across our sites. Your work ensures safety, compliance, and a great experience for everyone.
Key responsibilities include:
- 🔨 General building maintenance and gardening tasks
- 🔑 Daily building opening and closing; participate in an after-hours on-call roster
- 🖌 Assist subcontractors and support small projects (painting, cleaning gutters, air conditioning filters, exhaust fans)
- 🪑 Move furniture, set up meeting spaces, and assist with special events
- ✅ Ensure compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements

About You
- 🛠 Experience in maintenance, gardening, or a similar role
- ⚠️ Safety-conscious and physically fit for manual tasks
- 💬 Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- 💻 Basic computer skills
- 🌍 Understanding of NDIS principles and commitment to inclusion
Pre-employment Requirements
- ✅ Right to work in Australia
- ✅ Full National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
- ✅ Current and valid ‘C’ class driver’s license
- ✅ Nationally accredited First Aid Certificate
- ✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
- ✅ Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum 2 doses)
