Learning & Development Workplace Trainer

  • $64426 - $70161 per annum + Super + Salary packaging

About the position

As a Learning & Development (L&D) Workplace Trainer you will train new and existing employees to provide daily living supports to our customers, deliver training to develop skills in manual tasks, assist with daily living tasks such as personal care & mealtime support, clinical care, domestic duties & operational systems. You will also assist with training assessments and liaise regularly with key stakeholders. If you are passionate about compliance resulting in high quality person centred outcomes for people living with disability and working collaboratively as part of a high performing team – this is the opportunity for you.

The position is Part Time Fixed Term (until January 2025) based at Coolbinia Head Office.

As an L&D Workplace Trainer, you will:

  • Deliver and present training across all business units including software based training
  • Deliver CMS user training, re-training of skills and access non-clinical skills as directed
  • Support clinical training under the direction of learning and development nurses
  • Follow up on incomplete e-learning requirements and ensure compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements
  • Actively support Community Services with the training processes of new employees in the Community Services area as directed

About You

What we’ll need to help kick-start your journey with us:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, highly organised, and able to manage your time effectively
  • Well-developed computer skills with strong proficiency on MS Office Suite
  • Experience with a Learning Management System is desirable.
  • It is an advantage if you have experience working as a disability support worker in the Disability Sector
  • Manage and maintain training database and systems to gather and analyse training records and information
  • Readiness to travel across the metro area to deliver training to employees
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, Current Driver’s Licence, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
