Our Customer Engagement team plays a vital role as the bridge between our organisation and the customers we support. As a Customer Engagement Coordinator, you will deliver a high‑quality experience at every step of the customer journey. You’ll actively connect individuals with the appropriate services and internal teams, ensuring they receive the support needed to live their best life.

As a Customer Engagement Coordinator, you will:

  • Manage referrals, intake and onboarding and provide customers and families with the relevant information regarding all services with Ability WA
  • Communicate effectively with customers and families to understand their personal needs and effectively identify their goals and needs for support using a person-centred approach
  • Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), Local Area Coordinators, Service Providers, Hospitals, Schools and other referral pathways
  • Utilise high-level customer service skills to acquire new customers, deliver positive outcomes and retain existing customers
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail when establishing and managing financial and service contracts with customers, and ensure a high level of data integrity
  • Be committed to working collectively towards Ability WA's purpose and strategic initiatives

About You

  • Experience in the disability, aged care, or health sector with a solid understanding of the NDIS, or customer service experience with a strong understanding of customer value
  • Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with adaptability to change
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Client Management Systems
  • Possess or willing to obtain a current: National Police Clearance (within 6 months old), NDIS Workers Screening Check, Proof of COVID Vaccination and Drivers’ Licence
