About the position

Are you a Registered Nurse looking to transition into a community-based role, working within a supportive team, making a difference to the lives of those living with a disability.

This role is ideal for experienced RN's wanting to apply their skills and knowledge with a high level of autonomy and flexibility.

Opportunity

As a registered Nurse within the Health Lead team, you will support the caseloads of the Clinical Nurse Team through the Perth Metropolitan Area.

The role requires flexibility both for the staff and customers to ensure care can be provided in a person-centred way, ensuring their health-related care does not impact their day-to-day lives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provision of hands-on, in-home Nursing Care, including catheter, PEG and wound care

  • Completing care plans as delegated by the Clinical Nursing Team 

  • Providing training to support workers as required

  • Other tasks within the scope of practice as delegated by the clinical Nurse Team

  • Opportunity to act up and gain leadership experience

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration in the category of Registered Nurse
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module
  • National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID010 or HLTAID003 minimum)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Current Driver's License
  • Full Australian Working Rights
