About the Position

As a Team Coordinator, you will connect and engage with stakeholders, customers, and employees while leading a team of Employment Support Officers who provide exceptional employment support and training.

Your primary duty is to ensure a high-quality customer service experience through effective guidance and skill development.

This is a Full-Time position based in our Malaga and Murdoch offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee relationships between customers and Employment Support Officers, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Promote collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track performance metrics to identify training needs and optimise worker availability.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand customer needs and goals.
  • Maintain a tailored support roster utilising various funding sources.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices for employment support.
  • Conduct performance assessments and provide team guidance.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) relevant to the role.
  • Significant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong team management skills preferably with Support Workers or Employment Officers.
  • A proven track record of achieving continuous improvement outcomes.
  • Solid understanding and commitment to the principles of the NDIS, NSDS, and the Community Inclusion and Quality & Safeguarding Framework.
  • Strong alignment with and commitment to Ability WA’s values.
  • A collaborative approach toward Ability WA’s purpose and strategic initiatives.
  • A commitment to promoting a safe work culture in compliance with Work Health & Safety policies.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

  • Full Australian Working Rights.
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months).
  • Valid ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • COVID-19 Vaccination.
