About the position

Join our Goodwill Engineering Team in Malaga as a Storeperson!.

Goodwill Engineering is both a WA manufacturer of building hardware to the construction industry, and a long-term employer of people with disability in WA.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing and directing employees' daily activities, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations.

This role does not require any direct support work for our employees with disability; however, successful candidates will positively work alongside our employees with disability in a peer/colleague capacity.

This position is a Permanent Part-time position based in Malaga.

As a Storeperson, you will:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to various locations.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring all items are handled with care and are loaded in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including packing, labelling and organising products.
• Inspect and conduct basic maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Assist with production-related tasks as required
• Follow all safety Policies and Procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Supervise and direct supported employee workflow
• Ensure compliance with OHS and ISO requirements
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth operations.

About You

What we’ll need to help kick-start your journey with us:

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Experience within a Stores environment.
• Strong Intermediate administration skills.
• A valid Australian MHR Licence is required (Manual)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show empathy and possess a willingness to work alongside employees with disabilities.
Requirements:
• National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months).
• Full Australian Working Rights.
• Valid ‘MHR’ Driver’s License.
• Valid Forklift licence
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Workers Orientation Module (or willing to obtain).
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
• Successful passing of pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
