Nurse Manager – Community Services

Ability WA is looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to provide senior clinical leadership across Community Services.
This is a key leadership role providing clinical governance, workforce leadership and expert advice on complex health needs.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and clinically supervising a team of Registered Nurses and a Clinical Nurse Coordinator
- Advising managers and teams on complex clinical issues and customer intakes
- Leading outbreak management, medication governance and clinical audits
- Partnering with Quality & Governance and Learning & Development teams
- Driving best‑practice, evidence‑based care and continuous improvement
About you
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Senior clinical leadership experience (disability, health, aged care or hospital)
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, supervision and quality standards
- Confident communicator who can lead multidisciplinary teams
- Values‑driven and committed to person‑centred care
Mandatory compliance requirements
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- AHPRA Registration
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID010 or HLTAID003 minimum)
- Right to work in Australia
