We're looking for a detail-oriented and passionate administrator to join our Home and Living team on a fixed-term contract until March 2026. In this role, you will support the operational activities of the team, ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate customer intake and onboarding.
About the Role:
As a Home and Living Administrator, you will:
- Triage new customer referrals and identify NDIS/SDA eligibility
- Draft documents and correspondence using MS Office and internal systems.
- Maintain data tracking tools and ensure accuracy
- Update customer records in CMS while maintaining confidentiality.
- Prepare timely reports and coordinate meetings with stakeholders
- Support expenditure approvals and assist with business unit activities
- Represent Ability WA positively with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide efficient admin support to the team and the broader Community Services unit
About You:
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role (disability sector experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and customer service focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid organisational skills
Essential:
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
- Current Driver's Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
