Home and Living Administration (Fixed Term)

We're looking for a detail-oriented and passionate administrator to join our Home and Living team on a fixed-term contract until March 2026. In this role, you will support the operational activities of the team, ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate customer intake and onboarding.

About the Role:

As a Home and Living Administrator, you will:

  • Triage new customer referrals and identify NDIS/SDA eligibility
  • Draft documents and correspondence using MS Office and internal systems. 
  • Maintain data tracking tools and ensure accuracy
  • Update customer records in CMS while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Prepare timely reports and coordinate meetings with stakeholders
  • Support expenditure approvals and assist with business unit activities
  • Represent Ability WA positively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide efficient admin support to the team and the broader Community Services unit

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role (disability sector experience is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service focus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships
  • Flexibility and resilience under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid organisational skills

Essential:

  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
