Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist (IBIS)

About the position

We’re on the lookout for a Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist who has a passion for Early Intervention and wants to be a part of our In-home Baby Intervention Service (IBIS). The Ability WA IBIS program is funded by Telethon and provides in-home Early Intervention services to infants (up to 24 months) who have been identified as being at risk of neurodevelopmental delay. IBIS is highly regarded for providing high quality, evidence-based services and support from an experienced team of therapists.

This is a Part Time (0.6FTE), 12 month contract position based in our newly built Murdoch hub.

About you

What we'll need to help kick-start your journey with us:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Speech Pathology including experience working with children under the age of 2
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech pathology and current SPA registration 
  • Strong understanding of contemporary, disability-specific therapy supports, including assessments, interventions, reporting, and case management
  • Outcomes-focused, with an evidence-based approach to service delivery and documentation that meets funding requirements.
  • Effective team player, collaborating and contributing to business goals, while mentoring peers and sharing expertise.
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, Current Driver’s License, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check, Current First Aid Certificate and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
