About the position

Are you passionate about creating opportunities, fostering inclusivity, and supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals? We’re seeking a dynamic and values-aligned Manager of Employment Services to lead our Disability Employment Services (DES) and Ability Employment Supports team. We are experiencing a period of significant growth, offering exciting opportunities for career progression for the right person.

This is a full-time, permanent position. This position requires travel to multiple Ability WA Hubs including our Coolbinia, Murdoch, Malaga, Osborne Park, Wanneroo and Yanchep locations. There is flexibility to choose which Ability WA Hub you would like as your base hub.

As Manager Employment Services you will:

  • Lead, coach and motivate the DES and Ability Employment Supports team to meet KPIs and deliver exceptional results.
  • Understand the labour market and develop tailored solutions that address employer needs and promote sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with employers, community organisations, and stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets effectively to ensure financial and operational success.
  • Use data insights to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent the organisation at events, building networks and advocating for inclusion.
  • Maintain compliance with governance and reporting standards while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.

About You

What we’ll need to help kick-start your journey with us:

  • A qualification in Management, Marketing, Human Services, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership skills to drive team success and deliver programs effectively.
  • Strong budget management and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in developing quality services for people with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of compliance with Quality Assurance Systems and Disability Service Standards.
  • Marketing and promotion expertise to enhance service visibility
  • Current National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, Current Driver’s License, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check, Working with Children Check and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
