Opportunity

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming and improving Ability WA. You will gather, validate and analyse commercial data to propose data-driven solutions to address operational needs and problems. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with various levels of the organisation to recommend effective reporting methods, form insights and and suggest improved ways of to enhance multiple aspects of the business.

This is a permanent full-time role, based in our Coolbinia site.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will:

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations to support the operational needs of the business
• Prepare the monthly management and board reporting KPI model in a timely manner, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in resolving issues/outliers
• Identify automation opportunities in data transformation across the business
• Interprets and provides insights to operational teams using data from both internal and external sources
• Work with our Business Analytics Team to coordinate the annual budget, mid-year review forecast and periodic rolling forecasts
• Collate data and ensure data integrity and timeliness for the Industry Round Table submissions.
• Create financial models to support business decision making under the direction of the General Manager Business Analyst

​About You

• At least 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst position or similar role.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Commerce, Accounting, Economics, E Commerce, Mathematics)
• Data extraction, financial, business modelling and dashboarding skills
• Data driven, keen attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel including Power Pivot and Visual Basic skills
• Maintains knowledge of current advancements in business analytics and data transformation
• Membership or progress towards membership of a relevant professional body
• Has the right to work in Australia and willingness to obtain National Police Check
